Andrea Tagliapietra is the first Venetian, participating in the project “Venetians in Venice about Venice”. Andrea is 3rd generation wooden boat builder, as well as boat designer. Family business “Cantinerie Tagliapietra” in Guidecca -Venice is now part of very vivid consortium of boat builders, as well as other businesses, offices, modern flats.. in the area behind Redentore church. In the past years, Andrea also moved his business to Florida for some years. His profound relation to water and specially Venice lagoon is his motivation for his creative approach, especially in boat building design, for tradition of “living with water ” that Venice has.

Violeta Bulc also joined group exhibition in Town Hall in Ljubljana
Violeta Bulc contacted me one day with the wish to get family photos of Pina Maja, Žiga and herself. I thought “O my God how can I do portraits that are truly honest and relaxed? Then an idea popped up that I first had twenty years ago: “Do it yourself, do it in front of a mirror ! ” A few days later my first prototype with studio flashes and camera on the other side of mirror was operational and yielded surprisingly open-hearted photos. “Self-fishing” started officially this year in January with a project & exhibition..

Selffishstudio set up in its full performance is used in to the project “My streets”, recording life stories of elder people from Ljubljana . They had also portreait session in-front of old people’s home. The Stories and the Selfportraits will be published in a book and on other media..”The Stories to tell” ..

Doubleice Reading Glasses Promotion Campaign showed no limits of self-portrait creativity!
Out of twelve people who showed up to participate with their creativity in the promotion campaign for new product in Slovenia, ten never entered professional photo studio before !
…or ever did any shooting for ad campaign !
…and even more: eleven of them were first time in self-fish portrait studio !
Results of ALL were great. I could never create something like that in normal “photographer to model” studio environment without mirror in between !

Adnan Tupoljevič, popular DJ from Ljubljana. This summer Adnan is planning to roll his music more in Croatia and expecting to see big posters of himself in the places along the Croatian coast. In the past he also did studio fashion photography for a while. But now, in creating his own promo material he decided to do it by himself. Well, not completely. His stylist Katja Rosa who was also with him, could not resist the temptation to stand in front of the big mirror surrounded by flashes and make some shots of herself.

Very fine visit !
Aleksandra Stratimirovič -artist and much more …I definitely belong to her fen club ! Well she was for a short in Ljubljana to participate in “Svetlobna Gverila” and this three days I was sick and had to care for my little self . The only time left to meet was 8 a.m.!, the day she went on, to Belgrade . She did try studio ! , beside the tea and flow of inspiring information that we were exchanging. At 10.30 she was already off the ground.. / Bojan Brecelj
